2015 Joined Arup
I’m originally from Hong Kong and came to the UK to study for my postgraduate degree. Since graduating, I've worked for private and not-for-profit organisations around the world. Looking back, those experiences equipped me with a unique set of skills, networks and perspectives which really helped shape my career.
“It’s been wonderful working at Arup as it appreciates the ‘many kinds of quality’ to deliver ‘work of quality’ - each individual is unique and brings different skills and perspectives to the table ”
It’s been wonderful working for Arup as it appreciates the ‘many kinds of quality’ to deliver ‘work of quality’ – each individual is unique and brings different skills and perspectives to the table, but it takes a humane and open-minded organization to manage such diversity of skills and give people the opportunities to flourish.
As a firm, we say that ‘we shape a better world’ and in my experience, this really has been true. As well as working with amazing people, Arup’s given me the opportunity to work with some fascinating clients and collaborators. I’ve recently been working with a major Chinese contractor (CITIC) which resulted in Arup and CITIC signing a partnership agreement and extending a relationship that has already seen us deliver the Beijing National Stadium.
