I joined Arup’s New York office after completing my Master’s degree in construction management at MIT in 2001. Looking back, I think I was attracted to Arup by its work on the Sydney Opera House. If a firm delivered such an iconic and impactful building, it can’t be a bad place to start.
Since starting with Arup, my career has developed in a broad range of areas including Project Management, Structural Design, Project Controls / Commercial Management, and Aviation Business, and working experiences at various locations in North Americas and East Asia.

In 2011 I accepted the challenge to move into Aviation working in Arup’s East Asia

The new subway line will reduce overcrowding and delays on Manhattan’s Lexington Avenue line and make communities on Manhattan's far East Side more accessible. This major undertaking was instrumental to the growth of our New York office. At the early stage of my career, it provided me exposures of various aspects of a big project, and opportunities to develop skills in many areas
