I am an Arup Director, with over 25 years of experience in the construction industry.

Much of my career has been involved in Major Capital Works projects, from working with clients at inception through selecting design and construction teams through to commissioning, completion, and handover.

Working in major complex projects can often be characterised by volatility, uncertainty, complexity and ambiguity (VUCA). I help clients and project teams navigate through changes in government, policy and economic cycles to ensure they successfully prosper in these environments.

I am an Honorary Fellow of the Association of Project Management, a Fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers and an Honorary Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. I am also a member of the Council of the Institution of Civil Engineers and chair a board that seeks to inspire and develop our major project leaders of the future. I was awarded Freedom of the City of London in 2020 and recognised as an engineering hero in the Top 50 Women in Engineering Awards in 2021.
