I am Arup’s global stormwater skills leader, responsible for supporting water people across the company. As a member of the Energy and Resources team at Arup I also work on a wide variety of projects related to water and wastewater systems.

I am a chartered engineer and lecture on simulation modelling and sustainable drainage at conferences around the world. I have authored numerous papers and am a Visiting Professor at the University of Bolton.

I believe that both the real and the virtual water cycles are integrated mechanisms, therefore we need take an integrated approach to water management. I enjoy technical challenges and coming up with solutions to problems that many people believe are beyond our current technical limits. I tend to find that in reality, we are only limited by our own imagination.
